Will it work on my Mac?

Just Copy requires an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later. A notch is optional: on a display without one, reach for the top-center of the screen to open the same tray. Intel Macs aren’t supported.

Is the iPhone app available?

Coming soon. It has been submitted to Apple for approval and isn’t available on the App Store yet. It’s included with your Mac purchase when it launches, with no second purchase needed. Optional sync uses your own iCloud account.

Why use Just Copy instead of the built-in clipboard history?

Spotlight includes clipboard history on macOS Tahoe and later. Just Copy adds a visual tray you can reach from the top of your screen, search inside screenshots, folders, Paste Stack and optional AI access. You also control how long your history is kept.

Where is my clipboard history stored?

On your Mac, with no Just Copy account required. Optional iCloud sync uses your own Apple account. You can exclude apps from capture, and content that an app marks as secret is skipped by default. See our privacy policy for details on previews, sync and AI sharing.

Why does it ask for Accessibility?

To paste a selected card back into the app you were using. Without this permission, you can still copy a card and paste it yourself with ⌘V. Paste Stack also needs Accessibility to paste your copies in order.

Does it work with Claude, Cursor or Codex?

Yes. Enable the connection in Settings → AI and connect your assistant to search your history and use copies as context. It’s off by default and read-only unless you allow tools to add cards. Your assistant’s provider handles anything it reads. You can also use Copy for AI to paste context into any chat.
