Copying out of ChatGPT and Claude all day, and losing half of it.

One trip instead of two

You need two things from an answer. With one copy at a time, that is two round trips: find the tab, copy, switch back, find your place, paste, and the whole thing again. With Just Copy you copy both in one trip, and both wait in the tray until you need them. Nothing to carry back, and your cursor stays in the sentence you were writing.

Paste in order

Press Cmd-Shift-C, copy three lines out of the answer, switch to the form, and Cmd-V three times. Each one lands in the next field. Cmd-1 to Cmd-9 pastes a card by position when you want a specific one.

Find it later

Start typing and everything that doesn’t match drops out of sight, including the words inside screenshots you copied. Code keeps its highlighting. A link shows the page it points at. Press space to see the whole thing, the same key you press in Finder.

Hand it over in one paste

Pick a card, a few, or a whole board. Right-click, Copy for AI, and it lands in any chat as one clean block: what each thing is, where it came from, when, and the words inside your screenshots. Anything shaped like a key is left out, and the block says so. It works with any chat, including the ones that have no tools at all.

Or let the assistant read it

If you switch it on, Just Copy can run a small, private server on your Mac that lets Claude, Cursor and Codex search what you’ve copied, look at a screenshot, or pull a board as one block. It is off until you turn it on, and it is read-only unless you also allow tools to add cards. How that works.
